Exodus
The book of Exodus tells the epic story of God’s deliverance of Israel from slavery in two different ways. Firstly, God is getting the Israelites out of slavery, and secondly God is getting slavery out of the Israelites. It’s a journey of freedom as God’s people escape being slaves, but also as they know what it means to live free lives under the promise of God.
