Yesterday morning a group of around 12 riders and 3 support cars started the 1400km ride from Brisbane to Canberra. Eagles Wings has partnered with the Micah Challenge Network and Be a Hero Australia to raise awareness of the fight against Global Poverty and money for the EW school in Ndola, Zambia. They hope to arrive in Canberra in a couple of weeks and will meet with MP's in an attempt to get our government to act. BRBC's very own Tim Draper is along for the ride and as the photo attests he didn't get off to the best start! All the best to the team on their ride.
Camping at Kenilworth
This promises to be a great weekend of community building in a great setting. It is scheduled for October 17-19 and anyone is welcome to attend.
Footloose is a community of people at BRBC who remain
passionate about serving God; whose children are old enough to look after themselves;
who aren’t old enough to be proud of their age; who love socialising; who used
to be grouped as 50+ and who remain open to how God may want to use them.
