Thailand Team Leaves

A team of 21 people left for Thailand on Sunday night ready to work in orphanges for the next two weeks. They go armed with $13000 raised to build a basketball court, and help repaint some of the buildings. They will visit three orphanges in all helping support and encourage the long-term staff and adding value to the great work of Mercy International.

Ron Nowlan finishes on a high

After many years on our staff team as a "retired minister" Ron Nowlan has finally hung

up the boots. In a recent service we spent some time reminising on the significant ministry that he and Dorothy have had in our church. This will continue in some way but the service marked the end of his formal contribution to our church. Well done Ron and thanks for serving God in such a powerful way.

Trivia Night raises $1400

We have a small team heading to Zambia in late July to further extend our partnership with Eagles Wings, an organisation that works with homeless children. The team will be primarily a medical team bringing much needed health care to many children and families connected with Eagles Wings. This trip will help augment the on-the-ground, local response to a huge need - it's great to be a part of this as a church. If you'd like to contribute towards our $10000 fundraising target for this trip it will make a huge difference.
